Dr. Jeffrey Anderson earned his doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University. His studies focused on developing public-private partnership to bring resources to underserved urban communities. This was a direct extension of his fourteen-year tenure as the Director and Pastor of a community outreach mission in Baltimore’s Pigtown neighborhood. Dr. Anderson holds graduate degrees in both Theology from St. Mary’s Seminary and University and in Music Education from the University of Iowa. He is a former teacher in Baltimore City Public Schools and has authored several books on community outreach and engagement.

Having lived in both Pigtown and Bolton Hill, I have an understanding of the vastly different community priorities from one neighborhood to the next. I am honored to serve on the Community Oversight Task Force to help develop systems that address the concerns of divergent stakeholders throughout the city."
